Heard the learned counsel for the applicant.
The instant application has been filed for taking cognizance against the opposite party under the provisions of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for willful and deliberate disobedience of the judgment and order dated 19.10.2010 passed in Civil Misc. Writ Petition (C) No. 6130 of 2001 (Smt. Aneesa Begam and another vs. State of U.P. and others).
Writ Court vide order dated 19.10.2010 has disposed of the writ petition directing the opposite party (second respondent in the writ petition) to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 30.12.2000.
On specific query, learned counsel for the petitioner has failed to satisfy the Court as to how petition is maintainable after lapse of eight years from the date of order and 18 years from the date of filing of the representation.
Contempt application is, accordingly, dismissed.
