JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is aggrieved by his non-selection in U.P. Police Constable Direct Recruitment Examination 2009. The petitioner belongs to the General category and according to the petitioner he has secured higher marks than the marks obtained by the last selected candidate in the General category. It has been stated by the counsel for the petitioner the petitioner has not been given weightage on account of NCC certificate. Learned Standing Counsel contends that if the petitioner is aggrieved by his non selection he can raise the objection before the U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow which shall be considered and decided by a reasoned order. In view of above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to raise his grievance before respondent no. 4 U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow and in case any such objection / representation is filed by the petitioner within two weeks from today the same shall be considered and decided by respondent no. 4 in accordance with law within a period of three weeks thereafter.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
