JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.
2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, a look out notice was issued against the petitioner on 10.09.2016. Subsequently, the petitioner was granted with bail on 10.10.2016. However, the respondent police has also not completed with the investigation till date and the look out notice has also not been recalled. In view of the pendency of the Look Out Notice, serious prejudice is caused to the petitioner.
3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has filed a counter affidavit and submitted that the petitioner is also involved in Crime No.265 of 2016 and in order to verify the petitioner's hand-writing, some documents have been sent to the hand-writing experts and the report is awaited. However, he seeks six weeks time to complete the investigation.
4.In my view submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Look Out Notice cannot be withdraw for the present.
5.Nevertheless, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.264 of 2016 within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
6.With this direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
