Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the State-respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been appointed as an assistant teacher in the respondent no.5 institution in the year 2006, but the salary is not being paid to her. She has already made a representation dated 2.7.2018 before the respondent no.4, which is pending.
Learned standing counsel submits that there is no evidence of any valid appointment of the petitioner as assistant teacher entitling her salary from the State Exchequer. Therefore, the writ petition deserves to be dismissed.
Be that as it may, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.4 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 2.7.2018, strictly in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably, within three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the claim of the petitioner. It is further made clear that if the petitioner is not found to be validly appointed assistant teacher entitling for salary from the State Exchequer, then no order shall be passed for payment of salary to her.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
