JUDGMENT / ORDER

1.0 By way of present petition, the petitioners have prayed for following relief/s:
(a) The Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a writ of quo- waranto or in nature of quo waranto or prohibition or any other appropriate writ, order or direction to chariman, vice-chairman of the bank to vacate the office they are holding forthwith and their selection/election process be held fresh. Pleased to direct the respondents authority to decide and hear the election petitions in time bound schedule of 6 months and till then they shall not act in bank in any manner.
(b) Pending hearing and final disposal of this petition, the Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct the chairman, vice-chairman and their directors of the bank not to taken any policy decisions in any manner except day to day work.
(c) Alternatively, the Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct the respondents authority to finally decide and hear the election petition No.4 of 2012 pending before the Co-operative Tribunal in time bound schedule of 6 months. (sic) 2.0 Looking to the prayers (a) and (b), it will not be appropriate for this Court to entertain the said prayers at this stage. As far as prayer
(c) is concerned, the same is required to be granted. Accordingly, the respondent authority is directed to hear and decide the election petition No. 4 of 2012 pending before the Co-operative Tribunal within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the writ of the order of this Court. With the said direction the petition stands disposed of. Direct service is permitted.
