This contempt case is filed alleging that the respondent herein has willfully disobeyed Annexure-A1 judgment delivered by this Court on 8.3.2012 in W.P.(C)No.34794 of 2011. The petitioners have averred that though a review petition was filed seeking a review of the aforesaid judgment and a writ appeal was also filed, the review petition as well as the writ appeal were dismissed but notwithstanding the said fact, the petitioners have not been appointed ignoring the directions issued by this Court in Annexure- A1 judgment. 2. When the contempt case came up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing on both sides submitted that Annexure- A1 judgment attained finality with the dismissal of the special leave petition filed in the Apex Court and thereupon, the petitioners were appointed.
In such circumstances, as the direction issued by this Court has been complied with, I find no grounds to proceed further with the contempt case. It is accordingly closed.
