Heard Sri Prabhat Kumar Singh for the petitioner, Standing Counsel for respondents - 1 and 2, Sri Shri Ram Pandey for respondent-3 and Sri Vivek Verma for respondent-4.
The writ petition has been filed for mandamus directing respondent-4 to make payment of entire balance amount of gratuity and leave encashment along with interest at the rate of 10 % per annum for delayed payment.
It has been stated that husband of the petitioner died on 13.12.2016 in harness. A part of post retiral dues has been paid but some part of gratuity and leave encashment has not been paid. The petitioner moved a representation in this respect, which is pending.
The writ petition is disposed of with direction to the General Manager, respondent-4 to decide the representation of the petitioner by reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months from the date of producing a certified copy of this order before the authority concerned.
