Petitioner was an applicant for the post of Constable in U.P. Police pursuant to exercise initiated in the year 2011. The result was declared long ago and the proceedings of recruitment were concluded in 2015. This petition has been filed now, with the grievance that petitioner has not been disclosed about the outcome of his candidature.
Learned standing counsel points out that the process of recruitment was concluded in 2015 and there is no justification as to why the petitioner has approached this Court after such a long lapse of time.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has not been able to explain as to why the petitioner is approaching this Court after such a long lapse of time; in as much as process of recruitment itself was concluded long back. Petitioner, moreover, in his representation, has stated that he has applied for recruitment initiated in 2009 and that, it attained finality in 2011. It appears that petitioner has been careless in pursuing his claim and such grievances ought not to be entertained, particularly, when subsequent recruitment exercise undertaken has also been concluded.
The writ petition is dismissed accordingly.
