Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA for the State.
By the present application, applicant prays for a direction to the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kanpur Dehat to decide the Case No. 2024 of 2008 (State Vs. Santosh Kumar Singh and others) arising out of charge sheet no. 58 A/ 1995 dated 13.12.1995 in Case Crime No. 57 A of 1995 under Section 323 IPC, P.S Magalpur, District- Kanpur Dehat expeditiously.
The court on administrative side has already issued directions to the court below to obtain zero pendency of cases which are more than five years old. In view of directions already issued on administrative side, the trial court is expected to decide the present case which is pending since the year 2008, expeditiously without any further delay looking into the facts and circumstances of the case, it is provided that the case may be disposed of within a period of six months, if possible.
With the aforesaid observation, the present application is disposed of.
