A recommendation made by the Assistant Director (Recruitment) of Sashtra Seema Bal (SSB) is under challenge, which proposes cancellation of petitioners' candidature. A final decision is yet to be taken by the Staff Selection Commission.
It shall be open for the petitioners to challenge the impugned action in case the Commission accepts the recommendation and passes a final order. Merely against a recommendation the writ petition would not be entertained. The Commission, however, shall take appropriate decision within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order upon the recommendation made by the Sashtra Seema Bal.
Subject to the observations aforesaid, this writ petition is consigned to records.
