Heard Sri Mani Shanker Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri P. Maurya, learned A.G.A. for the State- respondents and perused the material on record.
The limited grievance in the present petition is for issuance of direction to the police authorities to conduct fair and impartial investigation in Crime No. 145 of 2016 under Sections 419, 420, 468 of IPC, P.S. Soraon, District, Allahabad.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on his report initially a case under Section 406 of IPC was registered against respondent nos. 4 and 5 and later further offences under Sections 419, 420, 468 of IPC were also added. It has been submitted that despite registration of FIR, till date there is no substantial progress in the case and it appears that the police is helping the accused persons.
Learned AGA submits that the State is bound to do fair and impartial investigation. He further assures this Court that the investigation would be done in a fair and impartial manner expeditiously.
Considering the rival submissions of the parties, the present petition is disposed of expecting from the police authorities to complete the investigation expeditiously as possible in accordance with law in an impartial manner.
In the eventuality of any slow progress on the part of the Investigating Officer, petitioner would be at liberty to approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Allahabad.
