Heard learned cousnel for the petitioner, Shri Ram Babu Yadav, cousnel for the Gaon Sabha, and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following among other relief:-
"i) issue, a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate action to remove the illegal encroachment from the Plot No. 194 measuring 8 Bigha 2 Biswa situate in Village Meoli, Tehsil Sadar, Distrcit Mirzapur. "
From the averment made in the writ petition, it transpires that proceeding under Section 122-B of the UP Zamindari Abolition & Land Reforms Act has been initiated against the encroachers and notices have been issued to them.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to ensure that the proceeding under Section 122-B of the UP Zamindari Abolition & Land Reforms Act against the encroachers are concluded and expeditiously preferably within a period of six months.
