JUDGMENT / ORDER

A.M.Shaffique, J Petitioner has approached this court alleging harassment from the police. 2. According to the petitioner, certain persons have seen arrayed as accused for offences punishable under sections 341, 323, 379, 294(b) read with section 34 of IPC. The petitioner was in possession of the motor cycle bearing registration No.KL-03-R- 2297. According to the petitioner, the vehicle was not at all involved in any crime. However, police is unnecessarily harassing him and insisting him to produce the motor cycle before them. According to the petitioner, he is ready to produce the motor cycle and co-operate with the investigation but he apprehends harassment.
3. Learned State Attorney submits that notice has been issued to the petitioner to produce the vehicle as early as on 30.7.2014. But the petitioner has not so far produced the same.
WP(C).No. 32283/14 2 Therefore, the police has conducted investigation in the matter.
4. Search of the vehicle which is allegedly involved in the crime is part of the investigation, for which the police have summoned the petitioner and vehicle. We do not think that there is any harassment by the police and therefore, there is no reason to pass any order as prayed for.
Accordingly the writ petition is dismissed.
