The petitioners prayer in this proceeding is for a direction for expeditious disposal of C.M.P No.4910/14 filed by him before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court- Pala. It is an application for interim custody of a vehicle under Section 451 Cr.P.C. As required by this court the learned Magistrate submitted a report on 4.12.2014. At one place it is reported that the said application was disposed of on 30.4.2014 by a common order, and that this court has called for the entire records in the crime in Crl.M.C 2510/14. But at another place the learned Magistrate has reported that C.M.P 4910/14 is a pending petition under section 451 Cr.P.C. Anyway, there is a report that, this Court has called for the entire records in crime No.480/14. In such a situation a time bound disposal cannot be ordered. However there can be a direction to dispose of the application expeditiously, or within the shortest possible time, on receipt of the necessary records from this court. Crl. M.C No.6857 of 2014 2 In the result, this petition is closed with direction to the court below that C.M.P 4910/14 shall be disposed of within the shortest possible time after receipt of the necessary records from this court.
