Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 09.08.2016 challenging the order bearing Na.Ka.No.A2/34/2016 dated 18.07.2016 passed by the second respondent in respect of the property admeasuring an extent of 0.10.0 hectares comprised in Survey No.16/10, Pethanagapudi Village, Pallipattu Taluk.
3. It is seen that the second respondent has cancelled the patta which was issued in favour of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner approached the first respondent and filed an appeal on 09.08.2016. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said appeal is not yet disposed of so far. Since the said appeal is said to be pending before the first respondent even till this date, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of only by directing the first respondent to consider the said appeal filed by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the first respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
