Petitioner has approached this Court complaining about the inaction on the part of the 2nd respondent in issuing passport after correcting the date of birth entry, which was wrongly entered in the earlier passport. 2. Learned Assistant Solicitor General, after referring to the writ petition, submits that Ext. P5 request made by the petitioner is incomplete and necessary details have not been furnished.
3. Under these circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of as follows:
The petitioner shall submit a fresh application with fresh request to the 2nd respondent with all necessary particulars. Since the difference in the date of birth is only four months, the Passport Officer can make necessary correction in date of birth on the basis of Ext. P3 certificate, after taking necessary enquiries.
