S.Anjugam vs The Chairman

Madras High Court|06 November, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondent to award 4 marks for Question Nos.1,2, 7 and 45 in Series Code-A Paper-I booklet to the writ petitioner in Tamil Nadu Teacher's Eligibility Test for the post of Direct Recruitment of Secondary Grade Teacher in Government Schools 2012-2013.
2. However, in respect of the very same issue, the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, decided in WP(MD) Nos.18334, 18335, 18341, 18349 of 2013, passed orders on 19.11.2013. The issues relating to the grant of marks in respect of various questions were adjudicated in the above writ petition and finally, this Court passed an order, holding that the grounds raised in those writ petitions, cannot be considered and accordingly, dismissed all those writ petitions.
3. However, in the present case also, the writ petitioner is unable to demonstrate as to how these questions and answers, as submitted by the writ petitioner, are to be considered positively and the marks to be awarded. This apart, this test is of the year 2012 and 2013 and this Court also considered these aspects and rejected the writ petition. Now the question of awarding marks in this regard, at this point of time, cannot be considered by this Court.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition is devoid of merits and it stands dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
