The petitioner is wife of the deceased-employee, Jairam, who was posted as Constable in Civil Police. The husband of petitioner came to be dismissed on 27.07.2006 and thereafter he died on 02.10.2016. The petitioner by means of instant writ petition seeks family pension.
On specific query, learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to show from the Rules that a dismissed employee is entitled to any pension/family pension.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner is not entitled to family pension as petitioner's husband was dismissed from service and thereafter he died in 2016.
In view of above, the writ petition lacks merits. Dismissed accordingly.
