Heard Sri Ashish Bajpayee, learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents no.1 to 3.
In view of the nature of the order proposed to be passed, it is not necessary to issue any notice to respondent no.4.
The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents to grant financial approval to their appointment on the post of Assistant Teacher (Modern Subject) in Shri Ramchandra Sanskrit Vidyalaya, Jhunsi, Allahabad (the Institution).
The selection for the post of Assistant Teacher (Modern Subject) was held in which the petitioner was selected and thereafter the selection papers were forwarded by the Committee of Management of the Institution to the District Inspector of Schools, District Allahabad through his letter dated 28.03.2018 (Annexure-5 to the writ petition) but it is stated that till date no decision has been taken.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition pending.
This writ petition is therefore, disposed of with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties with a direction to the respondent no.3-District Inspector of School, District Allahabad to examine selection papers of the petitioners forwarded by the Committee of Management of the Institution through letter dated 28.03.2018 as per the applicable Government Order of the year 1998, with regard to grant of financial approval to the appointment of the petitioner on the post of Assistant Teacher (Modern Subjects) within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is received in his office.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merits.
