Heard Sri Prashant Kumar Singh learned counsel for the applicant, Sri A.K.Singh, learned counsel for the informant and learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the material placed on the record.
Applicant-Sanjeev @ Sanjeet seeks bail in Case Crime No.592 of 2017, under Sections 498-A, 304-B I.P.C. and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Kalyanpur, District Kanpur Nagar.
Having heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant and perused the record, specially post mortem report which indicates that besides ligature mark there are two other contused swelling on the head of the deceased underneath which haematoma was also found present. The applicant is the husband and main accused who has not offered any plausible and reasonable explanation as to under what circumstances the deceased committed suicide and as to how she sustained two injuries on her head.
In the facts and circumstances of the case,I do not find any ground to consider the prayer for bail of the applicant. The prayer for bail is declined at this stage.
The application for bail is, hereby, rejected without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case.
