Heard learned counsel for the applicant, Sri I.P. Srivastava, the learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.
The instant application has been moved seeking anticipatory bail in light of the apprehension of the arrest of the applicant in Case Crime No. 323 of 2019, under Sections 420, 120B IPC and Section 6 of the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection)Act 1994, police station Pallavpuram, district Meerut.
The Court finds itself unable to countenance or grant the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail bearing in mind the heinous nature of the crimes which are alleged to have been committed. It has come on the record that the applicant and his wife formed a gang who were ensnaring people to come to a particular ultrasound clinic and after showing them forged and fabricated test results forcing them to abort the female foetus. Bearing in mind the nature of the crime which is alleged to have been committed, the prayer so made is refused.
The application consequently stands rejected.
