Petitioner's father was class IV employee in Nagar Nigam, Shahjahanpur, who is said to have died on 27.5.2017. An application for grant of compassionate appointment has been moved before the competent authority by the petitioner on 22.7.2019, which has remained pending since then and hence this petition.
Sri R. B. Singh, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that an appropriate decision would be taken by the competent authority upon petitioner's application for grant of compassionate appointment, in accordance with law, expeditiously.
In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.3 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim for grant of compassionate appointment and an appropriate order would be passed, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
