The writ petition has been filed against the order of Settlement Officer Consolidation dated 6.8.2003 condoning the delay in filing the appeal and the order of Deputy Director of Consolidation dated 31.3.2016 dismissing the revision of the petitioner.
Against the order of Consolidation Officer dated 27.7.1988, an appeal was filed on 8.8.1989 along with delay condonation application. In the memorandum of appeal as well as in the application for condonation of delay it has been stated that the order dated 27.7.1988 was passed without giving any notice to the appellant as such he had no knowledge of the impugned order before filing the appeal. The explanation given for condonation of delay has been accepted by the Settlement Officer Consolidation and he, by the impugned order, condoned the delay. The revision filed by the petitioner has been dismissed.
This Court in exercise of writ jurisdiction cannot go into the sufficiency of cause for condonation of delay.
The petition is dismissed.
