Heard learned counsel for the applicant.
Dealing with competing claims for grant of compassionate ground, a writ petition preferred by the applicant was disposed of with the following observations:
"Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to the fourth respondent that before taking any decision in the matter in pursuance of the order of this Court dated 6.1.2017 passed in Writ Petition No.576 of 2017, he shall also accord consideration to the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment. The petitioner shall file a certified copy of this order alongwith a fresh representation before the fourth respondent, so that his claim could be considered by the fourth respondent."
From the extract of the order referred to above, it is evident that no time-frame was stipulated. All that was provisioned for was that the claim of the applicant would also be considered before the fourth respondent takes a final decision. Admittedly, no such decision has been taken.
In view thereof, this Court finds no ground to entertain this petition in contempt which shall stand dismissed.
