It has been stated in the writ petition that the result of the petitioner for Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examinations- 2019 could not be declared as the petitioner did not indicate the series of his OMR Sheet and, therefore, his answer sheet (Registration No.0300016300, Roll No.03030804289) could not be marked.
It has been argued by the counsel for the petitioner that even though there may be some negligence on the part of the petitioner, as a candidate, to indicate the series of his answer sheet (Registration No.0300016300, Roll No.03030804289) but the Invigilator and the person who collected the answer sheets was duty bound to remind the petitioner to indicate the series in the answer sheet before collecting the answer sheet.
The petitioner may make a representation before the Examination Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh at Prayagraj i.e. respondent no.2 bringing to his notice all the necessary facts which shall pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner within one month from the date a copy of this order is served before him.
It is clarified that the Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner and the respondent no.2 shall decide the claim of the petitioner taking into consideration the stage of recruitment/appointment process.
The writ petition is disposed of.
