Following orders were passed in the matter on 23rd July, 2019:-
"Grievance is that though petitioner has been selected for appointment to the post of Constable, but only because relevant details have not been received from the concerned office, his candidature has been discarded.
Learned Standing Counsel may obtain instructions. Post as fresh on 30.7.2019."
Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions, according to which, petitioner's claim for appointment is under consideration at the level of respondent no. 2 and an appropriate reasoned order would be passed shortly.
In view of the stand so taken, this writ petition is disposed with a direction upon the respondent no. 2 to pass an appropriate order in respect of petitioner's claim for appointment, within a period of two months, from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order before him.
