Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The present petition has been filed for a direction upon the Principal Judge, Family Court, Baghpat to decide Divorce Petition No. 284 of 2016 (Sanjay Kumar Vs. Smt. Anju) within stipulated period filed under section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act.
It is the case of the petitioner that Principal Judge, Family Court has referred the matter to Mediation Centre and in the mediation centre, matter was listed on several dates but the ultimately mediation was failed. It is submitted that due to pendency of divorce petition, he is not in a position to settle his life properly. The petitioner has prayed that a suitable direction be issued upon Principal Judge, Family Court, Baghpat for early disposal of divorce petition.
Considering the facts of the case that the petition is disposed of with direction to Principal Judge, Family Court, Baghpat to decide the divorce petition expeditiously, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of certified copy of the order without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
