Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Petitioner is the son from the second wife of the ex- employee Head Chaudhary in the office of District Udyan Department, Ballia, who died in harness on 26 November 2018. By the instant writ petition, petitioner seeks following relief:
i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to forthwith grant compassionate appointment to the petitioner.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the fifth respondent-District Udyan Officer, Ballia, shall pass appropriate order, in accordance with law.
In view thereof, on consent, the petition is disposed of directing the fifth respondent-District Udyan Officer, Ballia, to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner by reasoned and speaking order, expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of filing of certified copy of this order alongwith copy of the writ petition.
It is clarified that the other claimants, if any, shall be heard while considering the application of the petitioner.
