Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State.
By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed the following prayers:-
"(a) Issue a Writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No.3 in compliance his order dated 27.08.2020 decide the representation dated 31.08.2020, 28.09.2020 for measurement, demarcation of the land Arazi No. 610 area 0.146 hectare situated at Village Bhishampur, Pargana-Kaswar Raja Tehsil Raja Talab, District Varanasi during the pendency of present writ petition before this Hon'ble Court, otherwise applicant/petitioner shall suffer an irreparable loss and injury.
(b) Issue a Writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No.3 to decide the matter of the petitioner within stipulated period."
It is stated that though the order dated 27.08.2020 under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 has been passed, but the demarcation has yet not been taken place.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the authorities concerned to decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from today by a reasoned order.
This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
