Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents and perused the record.
Present petition has been filed for directing to the respondent no. 2 to grant the Arms License No. 569/ Military/Rachi DBBL Gun No.B/2 6434 to the petitioner on the basis of transfer from the name of his father Ram Suhawan Shukla within the stipulated time as Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper, otherwise applicant/ petitioner will suffer irreparable loss and injury.
The case of the petitioner is that he had applied for grant of an arms licence on the basis of transfer from the name of his father in the year 2016, but no order has been passed as yet and the said application is still pending with the District Magistrate/ Licensing Authority, Chitrakoot.
Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with the direction that the application for grant of Arms License No. 569/ Military/Rachi DBBL Gun No.B/2 6434 to the petitioner on the basis of transfer from the name of his father Ram Suhawan Shukla be disposed of, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of self- attested copy of this order, which may be verified from the official website of this Court.
With the aforesaid observation/ direction, present petition stands disposed of.
