Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and Sri D. K. Tiwari, learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondents.
By means of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner has prayed for an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to appoint the petitioner as an Assistant Government Advocate (Criminal). In our considered opinion, such a relief cannot be granted in the writ jurisdiction as it does not relate to enforcement of any fundamental right of the petitioner.
The petition is accordingly dismissed.
