This is a petition filed under Section 24 of C.P.C. seeking transfer of O.P.(HMA) 8/2014 pending before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta to the Family Court, Mavelikkara to be tried along with other matters pending before the latter court.
2. The marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent became bitter and proceedings were initiated by both the parties.
3. The petitioner initiated M.C.No.23/2014 under Section 125(1) of Cr.P.C. before the Family Court, Mavelikkara. O.P.No. 210/2014 was also instituted for return of gold ornaments and realization of damages before the Family Court, Mavelikkara. It is pointed out that as a retaliatory measure, the respondent has instituted O.P. (HMA)No. 8/2014 before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta.

The petitioner points out that it is only proper that both the cases may be tried together so that conflict of decisions can be avoided.
4. Notice was served on the respondent and he has entered appearance. He has no serious objection in allowing the petition for transfer.
In the result, this petition is allowed and O.P.(HMA) 8/2014 pending before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta shall stand transferred to the Family Court, Mavelikkara to be tried along with the connected matters.
