When the matter was called on 06.12.2014, none appeared for the petitioners, as such, this Court directed the writ petition to be posted on 08.12.2014. Subsequently, on 08.12.2014, when the matter was called, there was no appearance on behalf of the petitioner, therefore, this Court directed the writ petition to be listed on 09.12.2014 under the caption ‘for dismissal’.
Even today, when the matter was called in the pre-lunch session, none appeared for the petitioners, as such, this Court passed over the matter and even in the post-lunch session, when the matter is called now, none appeared for the petitioners. This indicates that the petitioners herein have no interest in prosecuting the writ petition.
For the aforesaid reasons, writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
