The petitioner, the owner of stage carriage No. KL-13 J/8181 applied for regular and temporary permit on the route Madapura - Thalassery. The petitioner has approached this Court with a prayer to direct the respondent to grant and issue regular and temporary permit to the petitioner's stage carriage No.KL-13 J/8181 on the route Madapura - Thalasserty. 2. In the circumstances, there shall be a direction to the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority to convene a timing conference with respect to the settlement of timing of the petitioner's vehicle within a period of two months from today and the regular permit may be issued immediately as per the timings settled and a temporary permit of four months duration within one week from the W.P.(C) No. 24299 of 2014 - J 2 date of production of a copy of this judgment by passing appropriate orders on Ext.P1, application for regular permit and Ext.P2 application for temporary permit. Needless to say, such issuance of temporary permit will be subject to the preferential claim if any.
