JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 34
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 46817 of 2002 Petitioner :- Smt. Sandhya Verma Respondent :- Chief Development Officer Kannauj And Others Counsel for Petitioner :- R.K. Singh Rajput,Arvind Srivastava Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,P.K. Sharma,V.K. Singh
Hon'ble Sudhir Agarwal,J.
1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of the petitioner to press this writ petition. Learned Standing Counsel is present for respondents.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought following reliefs:
"(i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari, quashing the impugned proposals made in the meetings dated 29.8.2002 (Annexure no. 16) and 10.5.2002 (Annexure no. 13) held by the respondent no. 3.
(ii) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent not to give effect to the selection/merit list prepared in pursuance of impugned proposals dated 29.8.2002 and 10.5.2002 made in the meetings, held by the respondent no. 3.
(iii) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 3 to make a fresh proposal for selection of Shiksha Mitra and substantive vacant posts, existing in Gram Panchayat Laakh at Primary School Kathela (Haseran) in the District- Kannauj, after considering petitioner's application dated 26.4.2002."
3. I myself have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioner is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
