Order:
This Writ Petition is filed by a HT consumer questioning levy of penalty to the tune of Rs.7,13,626/- only (being 50% of the impugned demand of Rs.14,27,252/-), by revising its bills for the period from 20-03-2013 to 22-07-2013.
At the hearing, it is agreed among the learned Counsel for both the parties that the issue raised in this Writ Petition is similar to that raised in W.P.No.38258 of 2014, which was disposed of by this Court on 12-12-2014.
In view of the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of the aforesaid judgment with the direction that the reasons and directions contained therein shall form part of this order.
As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.47884 of 2014, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
