Heard Sri Sanjeev Kumar Mishra, learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent no.1.
The petitioner moved an application for grant of fire arm licence in the year 2007, it has remained pending since then.
Learned Standing Counsel has pointed out that after coming of Arms Rules, 2016, the petitioner is required to make application according to Rules of 2016.
In case, the petitioner makes any application for grant of fire arm licence according to Arms Rules, 2016, the same shall be considered by the licensing authority within a period of six months.
