ORDER Sri.K.G.Kamath, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri.H.D.Nagaraj, learned counsel for respondent No.1.
Sri.Prashanth N. Hegde, learned counsel for respondent No.2.
Sri.V.B.Ravishankar, learned counsel for respondent No.3.
In this petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks a direction to the respondent No.2 to consider the application dated 17.08.2011 at Annexure-C submitted by the petitioner.
2. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the application of the petitioner be considered by respondent No.2. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondent No.2 submitted that the same shall be dealt with in accordance with law, if not already decided.
3. In view of the submissions made and in the facts of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the competent authority to decide the application submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law, if not already decided, by a speaking order within a period of four months from today. Ordered accordingly.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
