JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioners, who apprehend arrest for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 506(ii) of IPC and Section 3(1)(s) of SC/ST Act (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Ordinance – 2014, in Crime No.349 of 2014 on the file of the respondent Police, have filed this petition seeking a direction to the Trial Judge, to consider their anticipatory bail application on the same day on merits.
2. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondent.
3. Heard both sides.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Principal District Sessions Judge, Namakkal District, is directed to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider their anticipatory bail applications on the very same day purely on the basis of merits and to pass suitable orders, in the event of the petitioners surrendering before the said court within 15 days from today and filing of petition seeking anticipatory bail.
5. This petition is ordered accordingly.
