Petitioner's father was engaged in the Ordinance and Equipment Factory, who is said to have died in harness on 24.9.2014. An application for issuing compassionate appointment has been moved before the competent authority, which has remained pending. This petition, consequently, has been filed for a direction upon the authority concerned to consider the petitioner's grievance.
Sri Sabhajeet Singh, learned counsel appearing for respondent states that the grievance of the petitioner shall be examined by the authority concerned, in accordance with law.
Considering the above, this petition stands disposed off, with a direction upon the respondent no. 2 to accord consideration of petitioner’s claim for grant of compassionate appointment to the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
In case claim of compassionate appointment has been made by any other dependent, the same shall also be attended to and considered, while considering the claim of the petitioner.
