JUDGMENT / ORDER

2. The Inspector of Police Ariyur Police Station Vellore District. .. Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more specifically in the nature of a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the detenu namely T.Viswanathan, aged about 58 years, male, before this Court and may set him at liberty.
For Petitioner : E.Kannadasan For respondent : Mr.V.M.R. Rajentren Addl. Public Prosecutor ORDER (Order of the Court was made by S. NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner is the wife of one Mr. T.Viswanathan, aged about 58 years. According to the petitioner, her husband was mentally ill.
He has been found missing from 09.01.2016 onwards. In this regard the petitioner has made a complaint to the police. But, so far, the petitioner's husband has not been traced out. This is the grievance of the petitioner.
2. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, that on the complaint made by the petitioner, case has been registered in Cr. No. 399/2016 on the file of the second respondent and the same is under investigation. Every effort is being taken up to find out the missing person. Hence we find no ground to grant the relief sought for by the petitioner, as there is no illegal contention. Therefore this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed. However it is made clear the respondents shall continue the investigation.
