JUDGMENT / ORDER

Shaffique, J.
The petitioner, an organisation registered under the Indian Companies Act, complains of the action on the part of respondents 5 and 6, who are office bearers of an association, which was formed by some discontented members of the petitioner organisation, to conduct 'dharna' and obstruction on 12.11.2014. Though the petitioner has approached the police for rendering police protection, no action is taken by the police on the complaint of the petitioner.
2. The learned Government Pleader, on instruction, would submit that on the basis of the complaint received as Exhibits P3, P4 and P5, the police had taken appropriate steps to ensure that no law and order situation is created.
WP(C).29549/14 2
3. Having regard to the fact that the police had already taken necessary measures, we do not think that it is necessary to issue notice to the party respondents, nor to pass any direction as sought for.
Taking on record the submission of the learned Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is closed.
