JUDGMENT / ORDER

The applicant - a life convict so far has undergone about 4 years and 5 months of imprisonment. On six different occasions when the applicant was released either on furlough or temporary bail he had reported in time. Besides, he has a reasonably good jail record and has now prayed for temporary bail on the ground of marriage of his real sister which is scheduled on 10.06.2012 and the marriage ceremony would commence from 06.06.2012 onwards. It is also submitted that one brother of the applicant convict is also in jail and another one is suffering from an ailment and the applicant has to make financial arrangements towards the marriage of his sister.
Considering the overall facts as stated above and looking to the jail record of the applicant, by imposing suitable conditions, I am inclined to grant the applicant temporary bail for a period of two weeks, from the date of his release, on furnishing a personal bond of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the satisfaction of the jail authority and the applicant shall report in time on completion of the above period. During the above period of temporary bail, the applicant shall mark his presence once in a week before the nearest Police Station.
With the aforesaid, this application is allowed. Rule made absolute to the aforesaid extent. Direct Service is permitted.
