Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned AGA for the State.
By means of this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the opposite parties not to harass them.
It is not in dispute that son of the petitioners no. 2 and 3 is implicated under the Gangster Act and an FIR to this effect has alrady been lodged. It is the duty of the petitioners to cooperate with the investigation and make necessary disclosures as and when required.
It is made clear that the police authorities shall not unduly harass the petitioners, however, this does not mean that the petitioners may not cooperate with the investigation at the time of interrogation as and when required.
With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
