Counter-affidavit is taken on record. It is stated therein that the alleged detenu has been arrested in connection with a criminal case and he was produced before the learned Magistrate and was remanded to judicial custody.
Hence, the Writ Petition is closed however giving liberty to the petitioner to take action in accordance with law, as may be advised. No order as to costs.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
