There was an electricity dispute and the petitioner filed a writ petition stating therein that recovery is being pressed without following the principle of natural justice being Writ -C No. 6764 of 2018, which was disposed of with the direction to the authorities to consider the objection of the petitioner.
Sri S.K. Yadav, learned counsel appearing for the electricity department submits that pursuant to the directions of the Court earlier the representation of the petitioner has been decided and the final assessment has also been made on 15.9.2016 and after that the Executive Engineer has decided the objection of the petitioner, which has been shown by the learned counsel for the electricity department to the Court.
That being the case, the petitioner has a remedy of filing an appeal for redressal of his grievance. In case, such an appeal is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be considered and decided by the authority concerned in accordance with law..
With the aforesaid observations/directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
