JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner's vehicle has been confiscated. Petitioner has no challenge against the confiscation. The only request before this Court that the petitioner may be permitted to obtain the vehicle on payment of value of the vehicle in 25 equal monthly instalments. The vehicle has been valued at Rs.two lakhs as per Ext.P2. Considering the fact that the petitioner is prepared to pay the value, the petitioner shall pay Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty-five thousand only) on or before 15.12.2014. The petitioner shall pay the balance amount in 20 equal monthly instalments starting from 15th January, 2015. However, the petitioner shall furnish sufficient security by way of immovable property or bank guarantee for the balance amount. On payment of Rs.25,000/- and also furnishing security for the balance amount, on executing bond the WP(C).No.31270/2014-G.
2 vehicle shall be released to the petitioner. If the petitioner commits consecutive default on payment of two instalments, this facility will stand withdrawn and the revenue officials are free to take appropriate action against the petitioner.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
