JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal reference No.A3/5298/2013 dated 17.07.2013, within the time frame.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed the appeal before the first respondent challenging the order passed by the second respondent as early as on 17.07.2013. However, the first respondent has not disposed of the same yet.
3. Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3, submitted that the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal dated 17.07.2013 filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, after giving notice to the fourth respondent within the time to be fixed by the Court.
3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 17.07.2013 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the fourth respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
