Heard Shri Tarkeshwar Mishra, learned counsel for the applicant and Shri Amit Sinha, learned AGA.
According to the applicant, her application filed under Section 125 Cr.P.C. is pending since 15.02.2014 and there is no substantial progress in the case.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that purpose of filing this application would be served if a direction is issued to the Family Court for early disposal of the case.
State counsel has no objection to this proposition.
The court below is directed to decide the pending application of the applicant as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four months from today. It would be the duty of the petitioner to apprise the court below about passing of this order by producing a certified copy of the same. Registry is also directed to send a copy of this order to the concerned court.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case and the court below shall decide the application in accordance with law.
