The counter affidavit filed by respondent No.3 is taken on record. It is stated in the counter affidavit that the alleged detenu has been arrested in connection with a criminal case and was produced before the concerned Magistrate. Thereafter, he was remanded to judicial custody, in terms of the order of the Magistrate.
In the circumstances, no order need be passed in this writ petition and the same is accordingly closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to take steps in accordance with law as may be advised. There will be no order as to costs.
